anybody know how to fix an amp problem?
i have a rockford fosgate 1200w amp and one of the channels is not working correctly so i opened the amp up and the thing in the picture below is suppose to be next to the other three in the picture next to it, how can i get it to stay in there and will it work if i put it back in?thanks for the help

It needs to be soldered back in, if I were you I would take it to an audio repair shop and have them put in a new diode or what ever that component is, unless you can solder real good and be able to use the proper heat range when doing it, if not you could completely kill the amp. just my 2 cents.

take it to a repair shop..working on circuit boards if you touch the wrong thing..it can short out a component..static slectricity can fry components so you need to be properly grounded when working on circuit boards
