umm...this is just my opinion.but i would try to get them to weld the flanges in...bacause..probably someday youll need to do something...say drop tranny, change clutch if its a manual..and u cant drop the trans with the hpipe in the way..and if its welded the the catback..how u gonna move it...cut it and have them reweld it again?...

Got a Magnaflow H pipe installed yesterday. It sounds awesome....the shop welded in 2.5" Flowtubes w flanges on the mufflers, so atleast It can be removed if necessary to do future repairs, which is good. Im not gonna do anymore Mods...I gonna wait till engine dies and do a Rebuild and swap out H/C/I and feel some real power.

and it's not illegal for you to take them off??? 6 1/2 dozen or another it matters not who removes them.. cause I live in a state where emissions don't apply ftw!!! at least not yet
