just curious to see what gear everyone does their burnout in?

i think second gear is pretty much the staple gear.

depends on what i feel like. if i want alot of smoke i rev it pop the clutch as soon as my car hits 5500 rpm i switch to second and hold.. i haven done 3rd but im sure it will spin in 3rd... or if i want two long black lines i keep it in first and play with the throttle a little bit...... man i havent done a burnout in a while... hmmm vid time mabe[8D]

yes for the track,
some people use first, some second, and some shift from 1st to 2nd...

Really depends on your rearend gear ratio. I used 1st with the stock 2.73's, 2nd with 3.55's.

for straight easy burnouts.. just use 2nd. a line lock is ideal.. but not all that necessary

I have 3.73s, was doing mine in first today, will do them in second next time. I also have a line lock
