I checked out "Almost Stock's" photos on this thread of lx, gt, cobra, lights. Those cobras look a little too "Old School for the GT, the LX's look more natural. I hate the fact that I would go away from a Full Stock exterior because of changing tail lights, but I remember seeing GT's back in the day and saying, "Those tail lights suck". IMO GT lights look better on Darker GT's than light ones like RED and WHITE. I have the 2 tone GT that is Dark Metallic Grey on top and Titanium Silver on bottom. Sometimes Ilook at them and think they look good.

I have the GT chessegraters in my now and are in great shape, but after looking "almost stock" with the cobra lights I really like that look. Does anyone know if they sell the Cobra's in the aftermarket, or is that something I am going to have to find at a swap meet.

I only lilke smoke stuff on a Black car....After looking a "Almost Stock's" photos of tail lights on this post. I think I would rather do the 86GT lights like yours...I don't like the pin strip lines that are on the Cobra lenses.

i hate thestock gt lights, go with lx or cobra lights they both look good IMO.

^^^What a difference!I want the 86GT lenses. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Cobra lenses and the 86 GT lenses, besides there being pin strips on the cobras. I want to make sure that the colors are the same(the red, amber, white part)

i believe the only real difference is the pinstriping. i got the black pinstriping on mine, however the real cobra's had charcoal colored stripes. and the 86 gt lights have no stripes. someone correct me if im wrong.
