1st startup after GT40P head swap
Well I got the car running today, I let it run for about a minute and it sounds pretty healthy, no revs or anything. I am in the process of doing an oil change, the stuff that came out looked like chocalate milk. More later.

No I changed it before I started it with some cheap a** wal mart oil. The car is runs like a beast now, it definately sounds alot meaner now too. There doesn't appear to be any leaks and all sounds well, I will retorque the intake and headers after a few heat cycles.

Trust me, it sounds waaayyy better. The car runs, sounds and feels alot stongerI thinkthe headers and intake really compliment the heads. I had my daughter to a fly by for me and was very impressed with the way it sounds now. How long shoud I wait to change the oil again?

Thanks, I am. Been waiting to put heads on for a while. Now that the hard work is done I am going to bump the fuel pressure a few PSI and play with the timing a little bit to see if I can get a few more horsepower out of it.

Changing the fuel pressure to a setting of 38 PSI and 13* timing really woke it up, it sounds and runs like a beast now. There is a pic in the link below of the finished project.
