Here are the events of the day. I got everything clearanced for the rod bolts to clear, cleaned the block againg to remove all the metal shavings, and reassembled the rotating assembly. It worked out pretty good today. My head studs showed up and went ahead and put the heads on as well. I need to pick up a cam plate to finally put the timing chain and timing cover. then its time to actually pull the old motor out and put the new one in.
