Hello everyone, i had installed a cobra upper and lower intake with a smog pump eliminator pully kit,under drive pullies, custom chip all the mods were done at a speed shop
now the car when 1st started up when cold it dies and runs like crap for a couple of minutes and then it runs fine, they told me that i need a egr block off plate and that would solve the problem true??? or not???
they said that they turned off the egr in the tune???
any suggestions would be very helpful

Try resetting your computer maybe. Unhook the positive an and negative cables on the battery and leave them undone for about 5 minutes. Hook them back up and start the car and let it run for a miute or two. That may work.

well if they said they cut out the egr in the tune and now ur getting that purged into the system, it will act kinda funny. but the egr is only "on" when you are cruising, not while its idling or at WOT. so when does it run like crap?

EDIT: my bad over looked the fact that it only did it when it was cold....if it only does it when its cold, i highly doubt that its the egr

ACTUALLY JUST WHEN I START IT UP FOR THE 1ST TIME
i have yet to take it out on a nice day and give her a rip yet as the roads are still covered with snow here in detroit..
