Here on Craigslist some chap is selling a 347 kit "new in box" that includes:

Freshly punched out 302. It is a 307 Block, that was professionally bored.
Balanced eagle crank
Bearing
JE I beam conecting rods
SRP pistons
all of the conecting hardware.

"Everything is new in the box, and needs to go. I ordered everything through several companies, and have spent close to 2400 already."

I am eventually going to want something bigger and faster. I have not had a chance to research the prices yet and I dont want to take the time and lose it for taking to long. So my question is, is this too good of a deal to pass up for $1800? or can I find something like this comperable elswhere fairly easy?

My neighbor did a deal like that on Craigslist for some 24's , and when he went out to take a look at what he was getting, he got shot and robbed for the cash and beat up bad by 5 guys in ski mask's.


So I would not do it, have him come to you or take some type of safety precautions, the telephone number was a cell phone with a calling card, and the address, the folks were not home in the day, and this is where the scam took place.[:'(]
