I just bought a 3.27 ring and pinion to replace my 3.73's.
Can't stand the highway rpms. Would also like some gas mileage improvement.
We read it hear all the time. The difference is amazing. So here is my question. How much faster is steep gearing on a typical bolt on Mustang or stock Mustang.

around 150 give or take , depends if you are just building a nice cruiser or a street beast . the 3.73 shouldn't hurt mpg to bad . you will deffinately feel a difference in the change .
