Default Projection or HID headlights

I want to find out what everyone has used on the stangs as far as aftermarket headlights go, projection type or HID. I am tired of my tinted headlights that make it difficult to see at night. I have seen several on ebay that I like, but I want to see if anyone has had any problems with either set up and to see how well you like either of them. Thanks for any info and for any links for info you can give to me.

i like the way HID's look and they are awesome for when you are driving and suck for the drivers that have to look at them while you drive past lol

I think my next purchase for my Fox is going to be a set of HIDs.....the question is, which exact lights to buy and from whom is the best buy??

From my research, it seems we need the 9004 bulb, and then choose a color.......I am thinking 8k (Not too Blue, Not too white)

But what about high beams?? Does the 9004 HID kit support both High and low beams? I have seen both here, but they are Expensive:

But if you check out the eBay ones that someone suggested a week or two ago, I am not sure if it does both High and Low:

Anyone have any suggestions?

most ebay ones arent very good and start changing colors on you. you get the blueish white ones and they start turning purple after a while.

It seems like the only eBay one worth buying is the XenTec brand...is that the one you are referring to?

It seems on eBay, and even in the autoparts stores.....there are two types of HIDs. Actual HIDs that come with the Balasts, and then the blue bulbs that they advertise as "Xenon" lights....

I went a bought a set of those blue bulbs back in '02 thinking they were that cool new Xenon HID blue lights.....WHOA was I wrong [:@]
