Some of the door had bad OP

Wet sanded

Meg 105 with twisted wool (I actually went back an did this again after the 205 bc I didn't get it good enough, not pictured)

Meg 205 with the lake county white pad

(I think this is the right picture lol)

Finished with the menzerna on a lake county black pad (all of the white spots are pieces of fluff from my micro fiber towl)

All in all, I'm happy with it. It's not perfect but from two feet away it looks real good. For it being my first cut/buff I think it turned out good. I did have one sag to sand out and it turned out good.

Been working on getting the hatch ready for paint. I think I'm painting it on Wednesday.

I received the reproduction quarter windows and my t-top locks today. I put the quarter windows in place and they seem like they're a really good fit. I read that the old ones (before they retooled) didn't fit good, were too flat. These have a nice curve that matches the car. I need to cut and buff around the quarter window area on one side and then I'll be able to get these in. Believe I'm going to use 3M 08609 Windo-Weld to hold them in.

I believe I read somewhere that it you use the window weld it will be almost impossible to remove the windows. I used the the oem butyle strips from napa costs around 20 bucks for 15 or 20 feet can't remember but it's enough for both windows. By the way great job on the cut buff and polish.

Thanks man, that door was the first cut and buff I've ever done. The roof and quarter I've done now have turned out even better. I'm quite happy with how it's turning out. I was kind of worried due to my lack of experience in the paint correction department.

You know, you're probably right about the Windo-Weld. I tried searching but everything seemed to be about classic mustang quarter windows. I might try again though. Maybe the 08008 Super Weatherstip Adhesive would be better.

Bottom of hatch painted. Going to flip it and paint the top and hinges this weekend and get it mounted next week.

94 Spindles and 1 Ranger axle and 1 Aerostar axle haha

Not sure if the rotors can be saved, they're pretty rusty. Having issues getting the bolts holding the caliper brackets off. I need a bigger compressor and a better impact gun. Using PB Blaster on them, going to give it a go again tomorrow. Unsure of rims right now, trying to find a used set. If I go new I'm thinking bullitts.

Got an alternator for a 94-95 as well (had 20% off at autozone figured why not, going to have 2 amps in my car)

Also, how are these used? They came with my outer door belt, but I'm pretty sure the ones that came off were squares and thicker. Maybe I just need to give it another look.

Two of the kittens really wanted to come in the garage and help, but didn't want them to get into anything (I really need to clean/organize) lol

Sandblasted

Painted with Rustoleum "Cast Iron Coat"

Both done. Just need to get my rotors turned, paint calipers, get my spacer for the balljoint (washers) and install. But before I install, I kind of need some wheels.
