looking to buy a 1991 5.0
ok so let me start from the beganing im new here
and im looking to get a 5.0 the thing is im looking for a fixer upper.
i basically and looking to have 3 thing good power, good handeling,and a nicee set of seats.
lol
well so my question is how much do you think it will cost to achive my goals, and what parts do you recomend me to get once i get it [8D]

depends on where you want to go... a mustang is a blank canvas when it comes to modding...
do you want a corner carver, autocross car, 1/4 mile monster, road race car, rally car (one guy here or on another forum rally races with a 5.0 notch)
there are so many ways you can go, you can spend 5,000 dollars or even 25,000 dollars.....

Replacing all the fluids is a good start.
Skip the flowmasters and go with something else.
Not sure how much cash you got but for power some things you can do are heads, cam, u/l manifold, rockers, tb, maf, cai, headers, h pipe, catback, etc.
Some basic suspension odds are u/l control arms, shocks, struts, front & rear springs, subframes, etc. and if you want to take it a little further you can go with a tubular front suspension setup (k member and a arms), shave tons of weight & better handling.
