you can use a lightning intake its similar to a gt40.

or you can just buy an aftermarket intake

Go with the 351, much more potential. Dont be worried about pulling the engine. Take pics and label everything.

all the bolts you take off put in plastic bags and label them so you know what goes where

yeah thanks jasper and fastblack those are some good tips which could save me alot of time. stock 302 vs stock 351 w which is faster and by how much.
my plans are not too big
bigger valve springs
match it maybe with a custom ground cam
could i run stock injectors
and im going to do an upper and lower intake.

anyways

get a 351 andd stroke it to 408 and witht he right HCI your lookin at an easy 400-500whp

sounds nice fuzzy dice but the budget dose not permit in highschool and two cars [&:]but what would i need to do the swap
alls i know is the headers are different anything else?

It depends on what the block came out of. I would not expect much if any gain with a stock engine and also the extra weight will be a factor, chance's are though thatit will have more torque in stock form than the 302.But look at the big picture and the potential of the 351. When you get the cash the block will already be in the car and you can build it anyway you want it.
