how much oil does your 5.0 burn?
just curious, and interested to know how much oil your 5.0 is burning. i have a remanufactured motor with 40k on it now. burns about a quart every 4500-5000 miles and has since it's been running. i change the oil every 6k with mobil 1 synthetic. no leaks. the original motor went through about a quart every 3000 before the valve cover gaskets started to leak. anyone elseburnina little oil?

none hopefully.. I just put a new motor in but my other ones don't really use much but they are not DD.. so it'd be hard to give a accurate answer to your question

my 5.0 has 177k miles. i know for a fact the past 40k miles its been beat on HARD.
and it burns not one drop of oil.
has a blown header gasket, sounds like crap cause of it, and runs rich as all hell.
but no oil burnage
