Excellent article. This is a must read before first time strip racers. Can't disagree much about the track points that were covered. He does leave out some key details about launching an auto with a trans brake, but he covers the general strip issues. By the way, my cheap a$$ lakewood traction bars work great on the street with some very minor mods. Grade 8 hardware, and polyurethane custom made stops. More than acceptable if you don't plan to hit the strip every weekend.

^^^^ I would imagine that the people who actually know what a transbrake is and know how to use it, have already been down the 1320 a time or two.
