So i discovered my stang is leaking coolant out of the firewall it looks like, on the passanger side..on the inside of the car under the passanger dash there is a plug in the firewall, it is a little damp with coolant around it....what would this be, do i need a new heater core, or does it have something to do with the plug or what?

Iknow its hard to tell what it is without yall seeing but any ideas? It is leaking pretty bad too!

The core itself not that bad. make sure you get it from ford. The labor is what's gonna kill ya. Pretty labor intensive, Book time w/ a/c is 5.5 hours.

You can do it yourself and save some money, but it won't be easy!

Heater core replacement = teh suckagde!!!

I did mine in my 65, and would rather pay someone else to deal with the headache.
