thats the ones i bought...they are the 6000K..hi/lo beam....n 9007 bulb.. its dark out now...idk tho..theres a another car parked behind mine..mines covered..and i dont feel like movin it all ..so maybe tomorrow night for pics..but they are brighter..i can tell |
RE: HID's installed today
Those were the same ones that I was looking to get...
How about the connections.....everything plug in directly? Or did it require any modifications?? |
RE: HID's installed today
nope!.worked great..everything only went to one plug..only thing..where the i guess main harness connects to the ballast deals...they can plug in either way..but i found out that the if the plugs one way the lights dont light up...trust me i was like F**K...when i got it all in..hit the button n only one litup...so i startd lookin n thats all it was flipped it around 180* n it worked like a charm...i just went out n got a couple pics..and a vid even..so itll be up ina couple minutes..

RE: HID's installed today
allright well heres the pics(which dont do justice cuz i am dumb n dont know how to run my dig camera lol)..but i got a vid that doesnt use the flash on the camera so it shows the light..vids in the link..and thats all the farther i could get away from the garage..my dads car was behind me..i gotta make sure theyre aimed ..probably do that tomorrow night..and ill take some better shots farther away..and they really are the 6K bulbs..just look bluer because they are thru the smoked lights..

RE: HID's installed today
Looks Awesome! I cannot wait to get mine in........
Still not sure about the 6 or 8s though...... I want a slight blue, but not toomuch. I thought 8 would be what I want, but I have a feeling that it is too blue..... If the 6k is giving a slight blue, then that is probably the way I want to go... |
RE: HID's installed today
man those look good:D nice ride man
|
RE: HID's installed today
Theylook really unfocused..they will probably blind oncoming traffic like 90% of eveyone else who just sticks HIDs in halogen housings. compare that to HIDs in a projectorhousing.http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/4290/bbbbbml1.jpg

RE: HID's installed today
yea..well..im not the oncoming traffic lol...really i dont drive it that much at night anyway...its just i wanted to be able to see if i would be driving at night...and mine specifically said to NOT install in projector housings.
oh n CantStopTheFox...i imagine with the headlights u have.the 6K would show up whiter..because mine are coming thru the smoked lense it gives a false blueish to the light...u would have to check around n see what they look like coming thrua clear lense. but thanks for the compliments guys |
