Default guess I may need Caster Camber plates

decided to check over the stang today, checked the fluids etc...

checking the tire pressre, I noticed the pass side especially, that the inside of the tire was worn down, infact to the chords.... luckily I had two extra wheels/tires... anyhoo, would excessive camber cause the inside edges of the tires to be worn down? or would it be a bad alignment.

I can pull up a pic of the tire, if you need to see it. Just hope its not too bad, as I dont want to eat tires.... my old car did that.... and I was rather pissed about it...

It could be camber, or the tires are toed out. If the worn area is smooth, it's a camber issue. If the tire has feathered edges that are rough when you rub your hand over them, then it's a toe problem.

Make sure they check the f/e also. Could be some worn suspension parts also.

they wont do camber adjustment if it dosnt have plates.

u have to elongate the holes on the strut tower.

i dont recommend bbk plates. i hit a curb in my old stang (not hard) and it almost sent the strut thru the hood because the plate cracked in half. very poor quality. will never buy again.

forgot to note, it was the front wheels only.

I have been considering the worn suspension, it is original, so most likely has seen better days as she has 125 k on the odometer...

thanks guys
