Gutting cats or no plzz help fast!!!!!!
ok well i got stock headers with sock x pipe with flowmaster 40s i want it louder so i was thinkin bout gutting the cats good idea or no and if it is a good idea whats the best wway to gut it thanks for the help in advance i was thinkin bout doing it today so plzz reply fast

you will have to cut open the h pipe then run some rebar or a piece of something through it
try that but when it gets inspected they will see it has been freshly welded HUMMMM ohio dosent give a **** so off road for us

i did mine last year sounds like azz compared to my new offroad h pipe. u can sell all four cats for the price of a catless h pipe if u know the right place that buys used cats. im getting in to car scrapping so thats how i know but do ur self a favor get a catless h pipe and keep the stock one so u can put it back in for emissions. a catted h pipe cost twice the price of a non. so dont do it.
also no u dont have tu cut anything open if u know what ur doing and have a long enough peice of rebar and time on ur hands.it takes several hours since u cant have anything left that might plug up ur muffler. mac sells a off road h pipe for $135 from latemodelresto.com

first off you dont need to cut the h pipe just take the h pipe off and ram a thin steel rof thru it till its all empty after all the cone came out i took a claw grabber and pulled the wire mesh out its easy takes a little time but easy and another thing if you gut your cats you still will pass inspection because your ch pipe dont have the o2 sencors after the cat so you will pass i did the same thing

I have the 40 flowmasters 2 chamber with mac tails on it with stock header and it sounds ALOT better then stock sounds meaner. sounds like it now has a big set of nuts with hair on the gooch.lol <<<<eeeewwww i like it "the sound" but im getting the one chambers with the mack equil langth shortie headers with x pipe. you will hear me coming. Today i was at the drive threw at mcydees and i had to shut her off to here the person who was getting my order wrong... If they can speek english they shouldnt work here
