So heres the problem, I had a engine swap done on my 95 3.8 toa 5.0, i thinkout of a 95.the car ran good for a couple weeks but now it stops running whether the rpms are up or not after a couple minutes.after it does it the first time if you try to start it back up imediatley it will only run for a couple seconds before cutting off again. anybody have any ideas. thanks.

sounds like a lack of fuel

i dont know if the 3.8 had a smaller fuel pump, but that would definately do it

you need to check fuel pressure with a gauge to see if it's dying as a result of fuel and then if it's not ..check for spark when it won't start......my guess is it may be a fuel prob..like weak pump or a restriction in filter
