Default What will be a better deal on a budget.

Right now I have $315 want to buy Crane valve springs $119+handlingfor my e7 port n polish project, 303 Cam. then save up a bit for drag radials my friend is trying to talk me out of drag radials saying im goin to f**k up my rear, which I don't believe if I know to take it easy on the launches. The other deals is rebuild Gt40pwith aftermarket rockers for $300 plus headers to fit the gt40p, I have Summit racing Shorties I'm not to sure if they would work cause i'm really not trying to ask my brother for a IOU. Will the summit headers work. i just worried about having street tires with the gt40p's,and or the fact that I'm putting up $300 up on a few pics they are 30hr trip to see them but who knows if the valves are bent or crack in the heads you can see. their cash only purchase I just don't like dropping money on a 100% Deal. My goal is 13's right now.

don't waste time with the e7's use the gt40p's and your friend is wrong on the drag radial issue....in fact he couldn't be more wrong......if the tires gripped and you launched super hard most likely an axle would break or something in the tranny, the diferential will be fine..8.8 is a tough rear

yeah I think I made my mind up on the gt40p, they can get me way further in performance than ported e7. i just save up for drag radials cause I'm starting a new job soon. I'll just pay my brother back. I hoping nothin wrong with the gt40p's.
