the at will weigh more due to have the torque converter and a trans cooler ,plus it holds more fluid in the trans than a stick , i like the gt better my self , i will take the extra weight for the looks .

I've had both, an '87 GT that I bought new and an '88 that I built to the hilt. I like my '93 LX better now, so I'll take the LX for the looks. IMO, the GT has become dated looking. But, that's JOIBO!

There is a 154 pound difference between the LX manual and GT manual. With a consistant driver this would equal a little more than 1/10 in the quarter.
