Default got a question

i just bought a Holley 600 CFM Street avenger carb for my 86 LX, but now i have a problem. i cant latch my hood. it gets close, but there is not enough room to latch it. do i need to get a new hood (probably obvious that i do) and if so what do i need to get.

Is your air cleaner too tall. It should fit under a stock hood with no problem.
