The Lincoln LSC's have the vert style mounts and we used them in a hatch and they seem to work fine.

Vert Mounts are reinforced and are stiffer than Hatch/coupe mounts. If you look at them you can deffinatly tell a difference. I bought the vert mounts for my car when I rebuilt the engine because the rubber on the stock ones was completely demolished. The vert style is a bar through design meaning that the mount bars go through each other. The hatch/coupe mounts are a bar and a big block of rubber with studs sticking out. The vert mounts do set the engine lower but not by much.

Most guys who do the 351 conversion use the vert mounts to gain a little more hood clearance.
