hey i just did this on a 94 gt motor...took off the egr, made a plate, and disconnected my smog pump. it seems that the smog and egr were hooked up to some sensors under the passenger fender. does anyone know if this will throw an engine code?

it will throw a code but on ebay they sell an piece ot plug into the EGR harness and it will clear the code, pretty much telling the ECU lies that the EGR is opening and closing when it tells it too

I'm a newbie, so I would like to know what's the point of deleting the EGR of a 5.0? Does it add horsepower deleting it?

what it does is eliminates the recycled fuel from goin to the combustion chamber alowing pure fuel only to be burnt which will result in a small increase but much better for the engine in total .after all egr is just a form a polution control and really don't amount to nothin.

Did no one read the pretty picture i posted? You take a ocuple resistors and wire it up as shown, and that will eliminate the engine codes. I haven't done it yet, but i have the resistors and plan on doing it soon.
