honestly imo i think the restors would be a waist of time....I would just remove the gaudy looking thing

...? The resistors are to put into the plug. So after you remove the EGR you won't get the engine code.

it will throw a code but on ebay they sell an piece ot plug into the EGR harness and it will clear the code, pretty much telling the ECU lies that the EGR is opening and closing when it tells it too
It didnt work on my SN-95/5.0 and on any other car I now they were installed on.
The only way I now to keep the SES light off for good is get the ECM reprogramed.

Hmm well I have yet to install it. When I go home this weekend I'm going to give it a shot and see how it goes. Good chance its for a 88-93 only?

what it does is eliminates the recycled fuel from goin to the combustion chamber alowing pure fuel only to be burnt which will result in a small increase but much better for the engine in total .after all egr is just a form a polution control and really don't amount to nothin.
Man what are you talking about Exhaust gas is routed back into the combustion chamber because the exhausted air is much hotter than the intake air (try touching a muffler sometime).By sending warmer gas into the combustion chamber, the air/fuel mix does not have to do as much work to heat up, and your engine runs more efficiently on cold start up.
