Default 87 GT problems after changing thermostat...HELP PLEASE

I changed the thermostat & the little hose that comes off the housing for the thermostat, also flushed the radiator. Ever since then I've had problems, but not constant. It gets worse each time though. Okay, first, I try to use the defrosters/heat & it fogs the windows inside & is very hard to clean off, likethe "fog"just sticks there. Therefore I can't see. Then it starts blowing white stuff out of my heater vents...constantly, as of today.Even when I pulled over because it appeared to be overheating (according to my guage [:S] ) , and shut the car off...the white stuff kept coming out of the vents. It almost looks like smoke, but it's not. When I turn on the blower, it looks like powder blowing everywhere. I am completely stumped & am disabled, therefore on a very limited income. Even if I did have the money, all the shops around here have ripped me off...badly. It also still appeared to be overheating, but my fluid is full, I haven't lost any. It didn't seem to be overheating, but I didn't want to take any chances.
Also...Has anybody ever heard of the heater core being backflushed whenever the cooling system is flushed? Or has anybody ever done this?
Any help would be so greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

here what probly happend when you flushed your systomit ezposed a small hole in your heater core causing the steem after you turn off the car it sucks in air through the hole coasing an air buble in your systom making it look full and cousing it to over heat. you need a new heater core. mine was doing the same thing and once i changed the heater core it stoped. and just to let you know getting to the heater core is a pain in the butt.

Just bypass the heater core until you can get it fixed of spend a whole day doing it.

doing this will also let you know if it is the heater cor coasing your car to over heat. after bypasing it you can ithere check the coolint level wile the uper heater hose is disconected and fill it like that or after bypasing it take the radiator cap off then start the car let it run tell it warms up and the thermostat opens let it run some more to get all the air out. if it still over heats you have anothr problem but the heater core is still bad.

Take the 2 hoses that are hooked to the core tubes and connect them together. You will no longer have heat though.
