I think it's just bad luck[:'(] I only buy manual transmissions now. Except for my 85 notchit's 4cyl automatic, but it fell into my lap so cheap I had to get it. Hopefully it will get a V8 someday.

I'm sure it's not junk, simply because the owner is a female Captain in the Navy. Can't say I've seen too many agressive drivingfemale 0-6's. I gave her a call today and got the answering machine. I'll try again tomorrow. I spent the rest of the day cleaning the 98 GT in true OCD style.

nice man, try and get it on a lift or something to inspect the underside. Not a big fan of the verts but for cheap it aint that bad, just make sure you put subframes/rollcage in to help it not twist out of shape

It's not negativity Pro50. It's being realistic. There is a chance you are right, RJW may have landed on a gold mine for 1300 but 98% chance it's junk.

A 5L convertible fox is a pretty desirable car. If it's in decent shape with no rust, it's worth alot more.

Or it's in poor condition and it will take $10,000 to make it a $6000 car.

There are many many foxes out there in good condition. If you want a mint one, whip out the 8-10g's and get a mint one.
