I am installing my A-piller tomorrow and just want to make sure a couple things for those who have it. When in the right lane at the strip can you even see the tree? and at night does it give off a really bad glare? so bad its hard to see at times or at the strip.. thanks!

Alright thanks, now is there a way that I can hook the gauges and monster tach up to my dash light switch? or should i do a direct hook up so thegauge lightsare on all the time? what did you do?

 

i dont know what guages u have but i have a 2 guage pillar setup with autometer nv series (bright green) wired in to my dash lights and i have to dim them way down at night cause there so bright and theyu glare off the front window and drivers window , plus when i turn down then i can hardly see my dash guages

never will i buy the nv series again along with the cobalt[:'(]

 

I know a lot of people wire them to the dimmer, I dont remember where I put min.. It was a long time ago and I had a friend helping me

 

They are a triple pod and white faced autometer phantom gauges. and so dont wire them to the switch..but to the dimmer?

anyone else have input on how they wired them.

 

yeah i have mine wired to the dimmer its just that my guages are way to bright at night they reflect off the windows[:'(]

 

Ok, ya I'll wire the a-pillar and the monster tach on the right to the dimmer. In other cars i've raced the 5" tach was right beside the window and no glare. but I'm not gunna take that chance!

 

or should i wire the a-piller to the dimmer andleave thetach on all the time?

 

I have triple pod and it doesn't effect my view
