The slap shifter is a blast to drive. I fully recommend a good manual valve body build if you have some cash to throw around. I also have Auburn Posi 4.10's in the back. It gives you that little extra pep to get goin LOL

how much would the vavle body, and converter cost?
my "problem" (if thats what you wanna call it) is that theres ALOT done to this car, and the dealership has no idea what all is done, i even called the guy that did everything to it, but him being 78yrs old, couldent remember anything other then rebuilding the engine, and he said he had $2000 in the tranny (the shop that did it says its built good, but cant remember what all is done to it, as its been 2yrs)

customconverters are the only way to go. they run around $500
and a lentech or pa manual vb runs around $500-600
plus a hardened input shaft runs $200 and aslong as they used good clutches and steels you will be ready for the spray.
the converter alone will drop half a second with good tires. then another 1-2secs depending on how big a shoot you spray.
