yes congrats on the build and that cam is a little big for street/daily driving but like i said fu#k it

and you will want to get a fpr so you can tune it in,its not gonna run oh so good without being able to tweak it.

and u might have a hood clearnce issue to look at

by the 4 numbers I posted you can tell the cam is "big", you dont know hw aggressive it is, the cranking compression, what lobes were used etc etc, so your comment is null and void as far as being too big for the street. Knowing this was an SN95, the cam was ground accordingly and it should run just fine.

im hoping the cam isnt too big for the street as this is more of a street car than a drag car. ill be sure to order the regulator soon. One question i might as well ask you guys is that since this is an sn95 and the computer sucks, im going to guess the cars gonna run like total crap until it gets tuned. but dont you have to put a few hundred miles on the car before a dyno tune? ive been thinkin about this in the back of my head for a while now.

Well my 331 has about 2000 miles on it thus far. Woody does a great job, people said it couldn't be done, but when I cranked over my new engine, it idled very good. Hasn't been dyno tuned yet, because I wanted to get a few miles on it first as well.

I firmly believe it will idle perfectly, its got 14 inches of vacuum and its on a 114 LSA, fear not

well hopefully it will run good. i was just thinking the air/fuel mixture would be way off due to the new maf and injectors and all that crap. so whats the break in time with a new motor anyways. i always heard 500 miles babyin it, change oil, then another easy 2500 miles, and then change oil and if it all looks good than your done. this right?
