Why so damn expensive?!

RE: Why so damn expensive?!
I live in central NJ and was looking for a pretty much stock, unmolested fox body for 4 months. The ones I found were about 6-8K, with a LOT of junk in between. I ended up finding a 94 5.0 in south jersey with 81K for just over 4K. For me it was an easy decision. As much as I wanted a fox, I was pretty sure I couldn't beat what I got forthe price.

I just spent a bunch of time searching the entire US for a comp for the insurance man. $5644.00 is the average price for a decent one. If you go much lower than you usually get one that needs a lot of work. Unless you get lucky. The numbers on them are dwindling and the junk yards around here are having them crushed. They are no longer profitable for them to keep. Plus they are teetering around the 20 year old mark. Time to sit back and watch them appreciate instead of depreciate. The average selling price on ebay for the past 30 days was right at 7K. People are getting money out of them now.
