I bought one that works and came with everything except the neutral safty switch for $100. You don't need to spend that much on one.

You think fox bodies are a dime a dozen? Well C4's are like a penny a dozen. Seriously if someone tries to jerk you on a price go some where else and get one. They come in so many vehicles and in so many years you shouldn't have a problem getting one cheap.

i paid $100 for a 79' long block out of a ghia and it came with a c4

yeah they are cheap but put one behind a motor with any power and a stock one wont hang long.....

You may burn the bands up but that case is pretty bullitproof. They are simple to rebuild and usually decently cheap to do too.
