Default Question for the Superchargers

Which one are you running? Which one has the easiest install and can get the most bang for the buck?

You get what you pay for.
Get the best one you can afford.

Vortech and Paxton about the same on install and cost.

Procharger is the best but hardest to install and highest cost.

I've Heard good things about the Kenne Belle Blowzilla, but dont really know much about it! I also like the Prochargers since u dont have to tap into the oil pain b/c they are oiless!

They are NOT oiless! They are self contained. meaning they have their own oil sump inside the head unit.

They are capable of way more than 50hp. The problem with KB is that people install the 1.5 kit on their stock 5.0 and wonder how come they aren't making huge numbers. KB is not the blower of choice for peak HP numbers, thats for sure.

imo a kenne bell should only be installed if you have a gt40 setup(gt40x aluminum heads, e303 cam, gt40 upper and lower) and then get the 2.1L FLOWzilla. You'll deffinetly be killing some centri blowers

Igot a kb on 6 psi 2.2 on 94 5.0 only other mods were a k and n intake, h pipe, flows, 70mm tb and stock gt40 lower intake. It made barely over 50 hp, but a ton of torque as said, but that large of a supercharger really needs to be run higher psi to see its potential, it came alive alot more when i cranked it up to 10 psi. I plan on running same amount now after i installed steeda 19 with 1.7's gt40x heads and summit shorties, hoping it runs pretty strong after its all dynotuned out.

I was thinking of going with this:

Think it'll be a difficult install? Looks like I would have to relocate my Alt?

I just installed the new paxton sl. No oil line to the pan, self contained oil in the unit. Got through summit for 2300$ and put in on there credit card and i pay 76 bucks a month for it. Took me a lil bit longer than expected to install had to make up sum custom brackets since i have no a/c and crap, but worth it.
