Default Drum Brakes

Have you guys ever had your drum brakes make a loud sreaching sound. Latleywhen Imdriving my car and i brake hard, like when im stopping on a hill, I hear i loud grinding sound coming from the back. It will only happen once and a while, and just when the brakes are cold. Thebrakes arefunctioning fine other than the sound. Im reallystarting to worry.I hate being ignorant.

It could be. Take off the rear wheel and simply take off the drum. Sometimes it is stuck on there pretty good so you may have to tap the back of it off (sometimes hitting the front of it lightly will do the same trick). Also remember to take the parking brake off as well. Check to see if you have any pads left on there. Try blowing some of the crap out of there. Don't use your mouth to blow as it will just go back into your face/eyes. Good luck
