so today i was bleeding my brakes and got to the front driver side took the tire off and noticed that my sway bar was disconnected from the lower control arm. im blameing it on the warn washer so i talked to a friend and he said since im building a 1/4 mile car i dont need one.so im kind of unsure of this everyonce anwhile i take it out on the town. would it mess with me with out haveing it. driveing around town. im not going to be haling *** around corners. so hit me up with some info before i go takeing it off...

makes the front feel much looser. if you really dont mind then taking it off will do you a bit of good in the 1/4
i chose to keep mine on tho, its my DD and i take it on lots of road trips

taking it off will help the car transfer weight to the back better, giving you a better launch. I dont hit the 1/4 mile ever really... may 10th will be my first, but I have mine on my car, and want a better set lol

I love corner carving

i was thinking of taking it off on mine but the suspension is really old and as of right now between 60-80 i have a bit of sway in the car as is. i was thinking tie rods were going bad since i dont hear any noise so i know its not wheel bearings or anything. maybe you can point something else out to me it may be. but the way the car is now do you think there will be any safety issues removing it?

With front wheels off the ground, grab the wheels at 9 and 3 and push and pull. There should be minimal play. Outer tie rods are the easiest to replace. Either or can go bad. Here is a write up.
