I concur, been loving it ever since I putmine in Jan.

I'm just curious and want to confirm: did you guys get your shifter with the base filled with a red grease? I assume it was put there for shipping and lube but it hasn't given me any problems so I assume that's normal.

yep mine came with the red grease too...didnt see anything tellin me to clean it off so its still there...it worked great for that 5 minute drive shifted like a dream..then the noise started, which by everyones help i am hoping its just throw out bearing..im replacin that tomorrow ..so hopefully no more noise..and be able to drive again..but ya its awesome and soooooo much better than the stock lol

probably just misinformation, 86-93 had the same design
