no emisions here, any suggetsions on exhaust. I plan on long tube headers (mac) and an Off road x pipe. Any suggestion on mufflers? main goal is performance but would like a deeper growl aswell. are there any mods involved in bolting this on. Thanks

flowmaster is really common on mustangs for mufflers... i have em on mine and i love the sound

But if you want to be different thenn... idk.

slp is very loud, and sounds awesome, at least to me

flowmasters are deep, but crap out at anything above 3 grand (sound wise) and everyone and their mother has them

magnaflow also has a very, very nice deep, aggressive sound

First off, MAC headers are junk, they have 4 flanges insead of 1, which is more prone to leaks, Go BBK ceramic, both headers and midpipe

for catback, I like my Mac produmps, but alot of people dont like dumps

like previously stated, SLP, while they sound like crap on the modular mustangs, IMHO sound AWESOME on the 5.0's

My ideal setup when im out of emmissions is BBK LT's, with O/R H, and SLP LM1 Catback, with a cobra bumper for them shiny tips

i def. have to agree with fuzzydice, go with BBK headers and x pipe. when it comes to exhaust SLP def. but if ya don't have $500-$550 for an exhaust, i like pypes violator my friend has them on his 04 GT they sound sweet especially the higher in the rpm's ya get, it screams pretty good. seems like people aren't too familiar with them on the site, but if ya wanna hear how they sound go to their website, they do every exhaust they carry at idle revving/drive by's.
