OK, I contemplating replacing my entire exhaust on my 87 gt. I'm thinking a complete pypes system from shorty headers off road x, and violator cat back.I have heard the violators on an otherwise stock 1988 gt and it sounded great to me.Total would be $680. I just wanted a few opinions before I hit the checkout button! Thanks

I installed a full Pypes system w/BBK shorties on my 93GT and really like it. Fit was o.k., needed to cut a few inches off one of the flow tubes, nothing serious. The sound of the violators seems deeper to me than my old flows. My x-pipe is catted and it's loud enough for me. I think I paid $580 for the system last year and that includes s.s. mufflers and cat-back, to me it's one of the better exhaust deals out there, imo

my friend runs a pypes violator catback w/ an o/r x pipe and headers, and it sounds really good, pretty loud too, especially after 4000rpms. and $680 for an entire exhaust isn't really that bad. if ya go to the pypes website they give samples of every exhaust they carry at idle/drive by.
