lol, yeah, all the FI 5.0's were forged til 93. i'd get the 90. no airbag in the steering wheel so you have tilt and you can change it to a better looking one very easily...but if you think u might need an airbag, get the 93

I'd go with 92 if it were me. I like the airbag look more, it has forged pistons, and painted side trim.

I personally believe 89 is the best year when it comes to the FI engines, 89 was the first year for mass air and had forged pistons, 90-92 forged piston but added weight from the various safety features, 93 hypereutic pistons

Fords forged pistons aren't that strong. The hold just as much power as the hypers and with stock rods and bearings a good tune will be the only thing saving your bottom end.

I have heard from several builders that the later Foxes can be out of square. Some a half inch from the factory. Something to do with the jigs ford was using being worn slap out. I dunno......

i coulda swore the air bags started in 91 or 92......

the only plus i can think of to owning a 90-93 is black interior and i think 92 or one of those years had an arm rest delete
