i found an 86gt stang with t-tops for 400. theres no motor/tranny,rear end, suspension, nothin underneath whatsoever, just the shell. the body is really really straight, all the glass is good, no dents, even the paint looks goodi dunno who or why someone would take it apart. but would this be a good buy? i have to take the trip about 280 miles to get it. i think i have most of the parts to put it back together, but all i have are87-93 parts. i think it would be pretty sick to put a 4.6 in it with a carbed intake.

i think im gonna. id like to put the money in the project i already started, but ive always wanted a t-tops mustang. the mustang on the bottom left of your sig is clean, i like it.

if the wire harness for the FI is still there I'd say go for it...not a bad price for a clean shell

go for the t-top, i had an '84 with no title once and got it for $200 because i needed the drivetrain for my '87 vert conversion to 5.0 but no that i don't have the t-top anymore i really miss it

I paid $200 for my 81 T-Top with title and two sets of interior...unfortunately it was missing the original 81 cobra nose and the hood cowl...no engine or tranny either.
