There is a good chance you may not need new pushrods, and there is a good chance you may need pushrods.
It is not as simple as bolting them on. Torque procedures and base circle "finding" needs to be used.

the 5.0 CObra engines use the 1.7 rocker. It is a simple bolt in swap. You do not need new push rods. You will gain more lift (obviously), and you will gain 2-3* of camshaft duration. Not a huge amount, but it does make a differance.
Roller rockers are nice. You really need them if you have more than about .500" of valve lift. Below that, you'll see no differance in performance. The non-rollers are lighter, though. You'll save money and get the same results by using stock Ford parts.
I did the same mod to a Dodge V8. Used factory parts, cost me <$100, took about an hour or so, and made a noticable improvement.
