Well, I honestly didn't think it would be that loud when I cut them off since I have 2 High flow converters and 40 series Flowmasters. It was really quiet with the tailpipes on it. I am going to try adding some turndowns angled away from each other to see if that helps the resonance. That's what makes it so loud.
I usually don't drive it to work when I go home at lunch to put my son to bed, but it gets 19mpg vs 14 that my 01 F150 4x4 gets, got it makes more sense to drive it.
I'm gonna try to quieten it back down this weekend.

Hell i wouldnt make it quieter man. I was just saying if someone is racing thru the hood late at night that would be disrespectful. A loud car is an awesome car lol. The first thing that came to my mind was someone's baby orkidtrying to sleep. You have a kid so i'm sure your not raising hell late at night.

i always though my 5.0 was fairly on the quiet side when i roll around town during the day until i hauled a$$ down my street at about 11pm last night and it just freakin ECHOED!!with all the silence in thearea...yea last time i do that again that late.[&:]
