What's the part called?
The one on the very back of the transmission that has the hole for the shaft? It appears to be pressed into place. I leak a bit of fluid from there and want to replace it before I put it on the engine and get it back in.

yeah it easy to do just jack the car up your gonna need a 12mm 12point to get the driveshaft bolts out then pull the shaft out of the tranny, the seal will pop out with a screwdriver or prybar etc then you just tap the new one in place evenly

ok just make sure to lube the seal before you put the d/s in so it wont be dry it will kill it quickly

Just an FYI if you go to a parts store, its called a rear main seal. Theyre like 5 bucks at any auto place.

rear main is the rear seal on the engine for the rear main bearing
