well first of all I said I wouldn't but since I wanted to run and so did my wife we had to pay two entry fees for the nvmc private club meet drag days just so the both of us could run the same carso I said screw it!!...I'm running the 85!!! WOODY was right if it's gonna come apart it'll do it right away or in 3000 miles if I were to run it then........Anyway much thanks to woody at fordstrokers for building me a stout 347 short block!!!!I did 2 shake down runs and traction was an issue even on the 275's......I had hoped for 3mph faster than my previous motor of 12.20's @111.59.....so first run was a 12.20@ 117.50..traction limited and the second run was against PRO50SC and the wife cut it short but I ran a 11.79@ 116.99 and Pro50sc ran 12.28 @113.78.....not bad for two runs on a new motor..she's got more in it still!!! anyway I was happy needless to say cause my expectation was doubled!!! 6mph increase and .5 of a sec gain.....money well spent!!!! and I drove it home and oil pressure is good!!! and no leaks , creaks or squeaks!!!

OK, here ya go big boy. The day started out disappointing, and ended the same way. Even though it was the best run of the day for me.

And here's what started it out. Started out good, hit 3rd and the car shut down. Luckily it was just the t/b intake hose blew off.
1st run of the day, shoulda stayed home

Just couldn't make it happen today. E/T's were higher, trap speeds were lower. I think it was the tires. Slightly larger in diameter than the Hoosiers I was running. I'll post up more vids as I get them uploaded.

LOL don't beat up on yourself to bad Bernie!!! although I love what you titled it!!...we got a good laugh on the title!! look on the bright side.. I got a video of yours..clearly showing you pull the wheel off the ground!!! more than I can say about mine!! so the k-member did do it's job!!!!

Nice runs mjr. We've both got the same mph and we do have more in them. We should be running around .40-.50. I'll be running tommorow. Hopefully i can do better than my first time out with the car. Congratulations man. I told you same thing as woody did, if it breaks it was bound to break anyway lol.

^^^^^thanks Man........now all I gotta do is grow some nads and spray it!!! the NOS is hooked up and fully functional but I'll wait until the fall to do that ....in the meantime it'll get a dyno tune and a/f checked on the dyno n/a and with the juice so I don't hurt anything...should bust a high 10 on the bottle...but I'm in no hurry to spray...I'm more than content with what it did N/A.....GOOD LUCK FOR YOU TOMMORROW!!! That was a really awesome run man! God Damn it, I've got to get my car on the road! You've got two race cars and I'm having a hard time getting my pretty much stock 5.0 on the road. lol
