Anyone else on here going to Baytown for Fun Ford Weekend next weekend? It's from May 2nd - 4th. We are planning on going that Saturday. I need to pick up a cowl hood for my Beast, hopefully a 4" will work, but I may need to get an air cleaner that I like on top of the carb and do some measuring. Looking foward to talking to some folks from here. Maybe some one will be running their cars from here too. I just took the new Supervisors job today and it happened to put me off for FFW for the first time in over 4 years, so that was cool as hell for me.

Weren't you the one that had a dyno run video up on here? Are you running that Comp stroker cam XFI HR-236 or something? Hows the idle like on that cam, what kinda numbers did you throw down?

Yep. I'm running that cam in my 347. Idles great. Sounds mean as hell. 376rwhp through shorty headers.

I have the same cam in my 347. I allmost have the car finished and should be able to start it next time I'm home from work. I was wondering if it had a real noticable idle or not.I am running a carb on my set up, full MSD, 190cc Aluminum heads and 10:1 Compression. I am hoping for those numbers or more, I'm running it through a C4, 3000 stall and 3.90 gears.

Have you run it through the quarter yet, any E.T's?

Do you have a sound clip of exhuast at idle?

Thanks man. I won't be home untill the first of May. Might get a couple things done before FFW. Can't wait to hear how the cam sounds, I was hoping it was choppy.
