I only saw the previous owner when I bought some struts from him a few months later.
He probably wouldnt recognize the car now with new paint, no rust, different hood, Cobra grille, different wheelsand a 5 speed.

yea it totally blew me out of the water, i live in a pretty crazy part of Denver colorado, its not like its a small town.

the guy gave me his number, and told me when he gets some time, he will find the old recipts, that way i will really know whats what.


idk, the guy kinda just struck me funny, spent 18k in the car, then traded it in for 10k where hes still hurting for it!?
also telling me it runs 13.6 with 2.73s?????

Doubt I will ever see the previous owner (not counting my dad) of my car, BUT I had a Ninja EX 500 I bought new in 1987. A year and a half later It was stolen, dumped off a bridge and the insurance totaled it. I moved to a new apartment about 3 months later. 3 weeks after I moved I was coming home from work and thought I seen a ghost, there was my Ninja in front of the apartments!

I recognized it because of the custom seat, custom painted wheels and Vance & Hines race pipe. I checked the frame where I had to make a custom stabilizer for it, the stabilizer was gone but the holes I had to drill for it where there. I waited for the new owner to come out and we talked a bit. Apparently the insurance auctioned off the bike and some motorcycle shop bought it removed the Lockhart lowers did minimum repairs to it and he had bought it from them.

I have ran into the guy i sold my vert to and the guy I bought it from is my uncle so I always see him. But my notch I just bought I run into his friends since he moves and everyone know the car. But I got to give him a callone day need to get a new drive way and thats the stuff he does so maybe he will give me a deal.

Kind of a different story, but relates sorta...

Back in 99 Itraded inmy 97 stang to a car lot about 40 miles south of where I live....it was a sad September. Anyway, on Christmas I was driving home and went past a body shop near my house and saw this green stang in front, totally smashed...thinking to myself, Heythat looked like my old car. So I pulled in, and sure enough, it was mine...totaled bad. I now rests in a bone yard near my house....I think it was sad I sold it so it killed itself Just weird it ended up right near me again.

I traded a POS Hyundi for my '83. It was my good friend, and he was gonna derby the car , so I had to have it. I see him all the time, and I think he might be a little jelouse of what it is now. I'm glad its at a good home now, and its a f'ing blast just owning it lol.
