I had something like that happen but it was with a 1966 Falcon. It belonged to my friends step-dad for over 10 years. Before it was for sale my friend let me drive the car sometimes. I ended up buying the Falcon from him. About 6 months or so later I was filling it up with gas when this guy in his 50's drives up. He said it used to be his car. I thought he probably ment he had a car like it before. But, he said it was specifically that car and named the guy I got it from. It was pretty cool. We talked for a few minutes and I told him where my inlaws (at the time) had a muffler shop and to drop by sometime. Later on he came by and brought some pictures of the Falcon when he had it. The bad news, my ex husband got the car in divorce so I could keep my 88 coupe. Then he stupidly totaled it by driving out in front of a minivan.

lol the 78yr old dude that traded my car in to the dealership (after he let it sit in his garadge for 2yrs) bought a MINT 20k original mile falcon to replace my 5.0........ that old dudes kinda crazy if you ask me, lol but atleast i got a sweet car outta it

Those old Falcons were cool cars. Mine was a 289/C4 car with factory a/c. Not to mention the seats were big enough to take a nap on.

I've got a story about that Falcon that's kinda funny. I was driving to work one morning and I noticed some people in a parking lot chasing a goose around trying to catch it. I guess it had escaped the park that was down the road. I kept on going, not paying attention to them anymore. Then the next thing I see is the goose, eyes and mouth wide open.... Then poor goose rattles around under my car. Whe I looked in the rear view mirror- nothing but feathers! Falcon +1 Goose 0
