I have an 89 5.0 and the idle speed is all over the place. Sometimes it idles normal, sometimes it idles at 2000rpms and sometimes it idles back and forth between 1500 and 1000, there has been times it goes to 3k and stays till I shut the car off. Also I think its all the same problem but while driving if you let off the gas it jerks real bad like its not getting a steady flow of fuel or something. I changed the Throttle Positioning sensor, and the fuel filter still not fixed though any suggestions are appreciated.

Ive got the same problem. Im waiting on some help myself. Sometimes it idles perfect for days and then all the sudden it starts its stuff again. Ill give you some info if I get any.
