Default Questions on a 94 GT i just bought

Yesterday i just picked up a 94 GT. I have a couple question's about it and i sure you guys can help me out.

This has disk brakes in the rear and drilled in the front....Is disk brakes in the rear and drilled in front come stock on a 94 GT?

I have a slight low ticking sound coming from the motorcan this be in the block? If not what else can it posibly be? I got a new complete shortblock that came with the car so if that is the problem i would just convert old to the new block.

Thank for the help guys.

stock the brakes were disc all the way around...in ur case someone just upgraded the fronts to drilled rotors...either didnt have enuf money to do all four corners or the backs werent worn yet so he left them. as for the "slight tick"..that could be numerous things..try to figure out where its coming from n advice will be easier to give.

You know there could be a reason he gave you shortblock with the car cough*tick*cough.
Definetly find out were the tick is coming from and what time of tick it is. The more you found out the better we can help you.

Update:
The ticking sound is coming from the driver side near the head. We put new header bolts and tighten them up and replaced the lifters and installed Crane 1.7 rockers. We also did a oil change with synthetic and adjusted the timing.
The "ticking" sound still exist.
My uncle said it could be a bent pushrod but they seemed to look fine.
Does anyone have any ideas?
